I was just listening (well I am still listening) to Dabble. While 
taking a break from my exhaustive work pace I decided to look at the 
liner notes and noticed that Anthony mayan plays the dobro on the 
album.  I looked up the dobro, not having heard of it and found the 
following site on Gibson Guitars.

Anybody on the list play one of these? What do they sound like?  I 
believe this is what Mark Knopfler played in that big Dire Straits 
album from the 80's.
