YEP, its TRUE!  All MALE athletes which were the only athletes there. Married 
women were totally forbidden from being present upon penalty of death. Yet, 
young virgins were allowed to visit to scope out the ideal male form as an 
educational experience beneficial to future husband selection. A separate 
Olympics for women, the Heraclea, had girls who wore a short "chiton" or 
dress with the right breast exposed. At least true in the earliest period of 
the ancient games.

I'm holding my annual Olympic Games Festival tomorrow at the  high school I 
teach World History at and my students have been FORETOLD they can not 
participate in the BUFF! Strictly layers of clothes under the greek tunic 
costumes they made.
