Saw a nice article about Marty's visit to the factory which can be found at the following link and will be of interest to non-guitarists also. Sorry if this is really old but I only saw it today and thought it was a good read. http://www.rickenbacker.com/us/nlpiper.htm Does anyone actually own a Rickenbacker 360/12? That's the next one on my wish-list - is it as good as I imagine it to be? I currently play a Fender strat. It's my pride and joy - you can't really go wrong with a strat. The only problem is that I can't sing. However, a useful tip for others who aren't graced with a good singing voice but want to record demos - always leave two tracks spare for the vocals and do two takes so that the vocals are played back on both tracks, i.e. no harmonies - sing exactly the same melody on both tracks. The vocals will sound much stronger then - however, you have to make sure that the two takes are replicated almost exactly. If you want to add harmonies or backing vocals, do these on a separate track. Lastly, has anyone had a go at tabbing The Awful Ache? Cheers Andy
