Absolutely. I think I mentioned this to Cathy as we were driving around having our "Heyday" weekend - that I really noticed how different and somehow more mature (not entirely sure this is the right word) AENT is. It's a progression - not only in terms of sound, musical abilities, lyrics, etc. but obviously in terms of the guys' lives - especially Steve's as his lyrics dominate the CD. Thank God it doesn't sound like Heyday - I mean, haven't we all progressed and grown in our own lives over the last 17 years? I would hope so! I don't even know who the 18 year old Denise was anymore. I remember her, with a little nostalgia and lot of embarrassment sometimes, but so much has happened to me in these past 17 years - who hasn't had major life events happen? I haven't always been thrilled with everything the Church has done since Heyday but at least they haven't totally stagnated and become stale hacks regurgitating the same sound/songs over and over again. Denise (who is for some reason doubting the spelling of some of those words but is too lazy to get out the dictionary or spell check today)
