John,
   We can probably agree on a lot of things here. 1) Criticisms are 
subjective and open to discussion. 2) Criticisms can be flawed for a 
variety of reasons (space/time limitations, subject familiarity, 
sloppy thinking, etc.). 3) Rebuttals should be level-headed and focus 
on the criticism, not the critic (unless the critic was a real ass 
:^).

But I still enjoy reading review rants!
