Great band, aye? Good album that one! They hail from New Jersey and indeed they carry that paisley/jangle torch quite high! But they can really rock if need be! They touch base on a load of great sounds ... early Who, Move, Creation, Jam, it's all in the mix, they go way beyond garage ... dare I be as bold as to say there's even a bit of the ol' Church in there too? Glad you checked out their website, The House Of Vibes is really cool. Glad also you get a chance to check em out, BTW, they play the SXSW fest next month down in Austin also. Speaking of The House Of Vibes ... tis the title o' their first disc, GET THAT!!! There's been a lot of years between releases but the members get real side tracked doing other groovy stuff. Case in point, I just saw their drummer, Mr. Kurt Reil, moonlighting as surrogate sticksman w/Mark Lindsay and the Redcoats a bit back, great drummer from that Moonian school of battery batterage! Enjoy that disc, Tony!
