And they dont do that in HW ?? :)

Should we really worry about it anyway? A lot of those feelings they have
with 'seance' have come from a time when HW didnt exist. Marty, Tim, PK and
the Kilbeys still talk to me regularly and they know Im a seancer though
until recently, PK actually thought i also ran the HW bulletin board - as if
I dont have enough things to do hey Denise! (lol). They have good friends
from seance incl. Marty!!

 I have experienced an 'us vs them' attitude in HW which thankfully you dont
come across in 'seance' but you just ignore it and let the forum's good side
overrule. There are some great Hotel Wombers - it's just a small-minded
element that spoils it for the rest.

 I'll always love my 'seance' - its a format that suits me timewise, we can
be free to say what we want as it wont (as the Violent Femmes say) ..'go
down on your permanent record' :) which may worry some ...and its
uneditable!....well, except for those rascally 'packrats' who keep
everything ;)  ...like greg said....be nice and share the news! And dont let
the 'mines better than yours' get to us.
