What, there's another mailing list, Hotel Womb?
How do I join? I think I was on it for a while years
ago. I thought for a long time there was only one, this one.
I remember being on one that had "ebay" in the address.

If I may add a little opinion about "criticizing" music
and so forth:

I can see that the bigger something becomes, the more
it seems to be validated simply by being bigger and having a big
following, the more harsh the criticism is against it. We love to criticize
Microsoft,
McDonald's, and Britney Spears.

What that Graham Parker was saying about today's music
I can attest to. I recently moved my office because my (ex) neighbor
plays the radio constantly from the time he arrives to the time
he goes home, at which point I kindly turn it off for him. (Our offices are
seperated
only by partitions.) This (average) radio station plays 90% garbage.
The playlist is like 2 hours long, so I hear it 4 times or more in a
workday. I got to the point where it
was affecting my performance and stressing me. So I moved.
Now I can enjoy relative silence, or play music which I would critique as
"good".
