Most of my SK stuff is on vinyl and I want to compile a definitive 'best of' that I'll burn onto CD and stop me having to get up off my ass to change records. I've been on Seance for far too long and I'm pretty sure this hasn't been suggested before. So how about it? Rules are, SK has to have written it, sang on it and doesn't come under The Church moniker. >> Even that's a bit unclear - eg with some Jack Frost songs I don't know who wrote them and I'm not always sure I can tell Steve from Grant anyway on some of those tracks - sometimes they sound alike, other times they don't. So I kept my top SK tracks list to just pure solo SK (and also didn't count the instrumentals) and finished up with 17 - was trying to cull them down from a shortlist of 25 to 15 and got stuck, here they are (in chronological order only): Pretty Ugly Pretty Sad, Othertime, Surrealist Woman Blues, Liquid, Goliath, Danielle, No Such Thing, Limbo, Fall in Love, Midnite in America, Blessed One, Keeper, Silencer, Selfish Portrait, No Time At All, Untitled 1, Untitled 2. 7 Dabble songs out of 17? Couldn't help it, I think the album really is that good.
