From: Robert Rankin Walker, heyday@heyday.com Subject: Marty info and David J signs to Heyday Date: 2/14/2002 1:04:47 PM To: Seance List, seance@lists.no-fi.com Hey Seancers, This year is going to be a banner year I think! Marty has been recording with Andy "Dare" Mason and plans to have a new album ready by summers end. Of course the big thing with Marty is that he is so busy with The Church and All About Eve that he just doesn't have a lot of time for his solo career. So really, I can't confirm when a specific date for his new release will be. Marty did say though that he may not do this as "Marty Willson-Piper" but him and Andy may have a band name for the project. Marty also said that he hopes to have some free time in Sept. to do some solo US dates. Again, it all depends on what's happening with The Church and AAE. As for other Heyday news...we can officially announce now the new CD EP by David J (Bauhaus / Love and Rockets) will be ready in March! The "Guitar Man" EP features Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins (both of Jane's Addiction) and Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters). Talk soon all and I can't wait for the Church to hit the West Coast in April!!! Cheers, Robert Rankin Walker Heyday Records P.O.
