Subject: Recent CD Purchases (Absolutely No Church)

While in the throes of nostalgia, I ordered CDs of
some of my favorite albums from the 70s, which I have
not listened to since then. I ordered them from,
well.. it rhymes with Slumbia Mouse.  Some were
mistakes.  But two of them are so good, I can't
believe I haven't bought them sooner.  I speak of Jeff
Beck's Blow By Blow and Wired.  Both produced by
George Martin.  Blow By Blow has just about the best
guitar solo I have ever heard on the song "Cause We
Ended As lovers" (by Stevie Wonder).  It also boasts
some of that cool talking guitar made famous by P.
Frampton.  Wired is just that with Jan Hammer. Now I
just have to find the Live album with Jan Hammer.   

I can't believe I left Jeff Beck off my list of top
guitarists.
