Speaking of Radiotronics and having been a Shortwave Radio listener and Ham Radio Operator for 30+ yrs, um.., I like it. I remember talking about Radiotronics to either Peter or Tim after a show, but my memory will not rewind and play back the details for me. Some really spacy noises can be heard out on the radio bands. A dash of some morse code, the essence of fading, and a smidgeon of distortion all provides for some coolo sounds. Adrian Belew had some wacky stuff on Desire Caught by the Tail. There were some sections where I thought he certainly recorded sounds from the Short Wave or was influenced enough to create his own sounds. I mean, come on, what sound couldn't Adrian make? If he he wanted to play a fart through his guitar, excuse my language, I'm sure he wouldn't have any problems at all. One new thread to start up: what songs have had sounds coming from a radio? I'm sure some of you have heard Ten Years After 'Baby Won't You Let Me' from A Space In Time. At the beginning you can hear what sounds like a radio tuning until it passes this song, then it goes right back to the song. Good stuff. Any others? Dave
