My classes never like Paul Klee though. I just have one question though: How DO you teach someone to appreciate an all black painting? Perhaps my teaching skills could be enhanced if I knew. When I showed Kazimir Malevich's "White on White" I basically let them all laugh, and I laughed too. Then when I told them how many millions of dollars his works can go for, we stopped laughing. Hey - speaking of cartoons - has anyone mentioned that incredibly sophisticated and technically impressive show "Land of the Lost"? Man I really enjoyed that one. Those sets - the realism! The sleastacks (sp?)!!!!! Nothing like a big bowl of sugary cereal and Saturday morning cartoons. I miss being 7 years old. : / Denise
