it's like Fatima, but with a Steve kind of slant... :)

3 children - 2 girls, 1 boy.

I was in Portugal about a year and a half ago, and visited Fatima, mostly 
out of sheer curiosity, as my family is not religious in any way. and we 
passed that way anyway. I had known about the phenomena mostly because a 
girl I went to primary school with had a very catholic mum who was a bit 
obsessed by it...when we went, it was a short time after the last child 
(the eldest girl) died, and was being cannonised...the other two died very 
young, only a few years after the whole Madonna incident.

Fatima is a pretty strange place, although I guess I would find something 
so very...ummmm...dedicated?...pretty strange. but it was a really 
interesting experience - people doing the 'on their knees' pilgrimage, 
buying wax effigies to burn, the whole bit. really interesting.
