In fact I believe the whole damn reason AENT was delayed for frickin 10 months was cause the Bunnymen got dropped by London/Sire and were picked up by CV.. sound familiar? anyway (I digress) .. the Bunnymen used to be a solid brickhouse type group when Les Pattinson (bass) and Pete de Freitas (drums) were around. Both are now gone Pete died accidentally around 89 or 90..btw Pete was an incredible drummer, listen to 'Back of Love' or 'All my Colors'(Zimbo) he simply was the best and they cannot reproduce those songs again, PERIOD! (major Toms :-).. anyway a double digression.. the new CD Flowers, it really good and Ian mac and Will Sargeants have found a good sound together that reminds me of the Eltrafixtion period (1994) with some better lyrics and melodies.. I don't blame CV for picking this up at the time, stupid Sire dropped Echo at the wrong time and Ians is not gonna let them forget it. a ranting KINGBIRD! err ^jax anna amnesia wrote: > > I say Ocean Rain since that's the only Echo I ownand I like it better than > the other one I used to have: Echo & the Bunnymen.
