Although "Blurred Crusade " shall remain my fave Churchverk for so many reasons other than the obvious Churchy/musical ones , I too feel the same as you these days. It's basically favorite songs for me at this point ... and I've made for myself a multi disc compendium (6 discs) of seques, mood sets, rocky set and such spanning our heroes' career ... just another of my neverending exercises in egotistic futility I suppose! These are how *I* think things fit ...and know wot ... there are things from OSAH that sound so perfectly apropos butted right up next to something from Baal! (haven't mixed in anything from the new record yet! ;-) ) That's wot's so bloody amazing about this band! Over the length and width and breath and genreic alterings of the past twenty years Churchiness has endured! Bright Churchiness, murky/muddled/radiotronicized Churchiness, balls out and rockin' Churchiness ... they've endured! Kevin's observations of rocky Church ...this Church ...that Church...and so on are so valid to this point o' mine! Anyway ... thanks.
