Sorry, lost yr address,deleted everything up to now, here's an answer I
recieved from someone that should know that guitar...
Mark, 
The pick ups are Korean made humbuckers. Not bad but not fabulous
either. I would probably recommend changing them to a set of Seymour
Duncans but that would run around $200 which is kinda pricey for an
inexpensive guitar.
