So when I got home from work I got out the portable cd player and went for a walk with AENT. It's definitely growing on me more than other recent Church releases. Still holding to "After Everything" as a fave. I was not keen on BOB at all to tell you the truth. I think being able to look at a new cd even by your favourite band with as unbiased a view as possible is healthy. I'd hate to see everyone simply stating its wonderful..just because its the Church you know? I realize this *is* a Church list and we're all fans but not everyone has to be over the top. I mean, if its crap (which I do NOT think) - its crap! My first exposure to the Church was Seance in 83. I still hold that one, Remote Luxury and Heyday as MY Church. I bought the back catalogue then. Subsequent records hold their own special memories. Where I was in life when they came out etc. I worked at a college station when GAF was released and we did get the "Russian Autumn Heart" cd5 as a promo. Don't know about commercial stations though. And yes, I said AENT is a winter cd to me. Definitely. Kate __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE Valentine eCards with Yahoo!
