just to make Greg more jealous, let me mention what my listening
conditions were last night as i listened to the cd for the first time.

after leaving Tower records i took a long drive home so i would
be able to hear the whole album at once.  the french quarter is
a nice place to listen to music and there was a mardi gras parade
i had to contend with, so taking a long time to get home was no
problem.  it was really cold and windy with a light rain, so i had to
have my heater on in the car.  this was especially necessary as i
was forced to leave my window open so i could blow the smoke out!

anyway i took a lot of dark streets on the way home on purpose.
Numbers and After Everything were heard downtown, so those
2 were accompanied by lots of pretty lights.

After Everything is the one song i find myself listening to more than
any others.
