You see, whenever I get a new album from a band I like, I try to listen to all their previous albums first. This gives me some perspective on the new one. So, before listening to AENT, I had to hear OSAH, Sing-Songs/RL/Persia, Seance, Heyday, GAF, P=A, HOB, and BOB. Well, I like it. I was getting kind of worried about the album after hearing all the reviews. However, I do think it is a success. I like it on first listen better than HOB, for whatever that's worth. I don't notice the production quality being "muddled" or "cloudy", or whatever. It is what it is. Since I only have the Radiance/Seen It Coming songs on MP3, I can't compare this mix to the monitor mix out there. I do think I would add both Undo and Oxydental to the album. Maybe I'll make up a CD-R for the car. Somebody posted a suggested track listing the other day and I think I'll check into it. Having finished AENT, I'm currently listening to Dabble. As usual, Kilbey solo is good, but he doesn't have the spark in his recordings that one finds in a Church album. I'd recommend it for those of you on the list who haven't bought it yet. So far, I like Blessed One the best. KP
