the song After Everything effects me in a very similar
way. Such deep sadness and melancholy... That is the
theme I see in the album. The struggle of life and the
shock and emptyness of losing your life. Think of all
of the death references - Esmerelda walking by him in
the graveyard where he always waits but she doesn't
see him; the train that comes to take you away and
idea that it's all a cycle going around and around.
There are many more I'm just too tired to list them
all - but give it a listen and think about that...
