Supertramp had some great album cover atrverk indeedy!  Anybody
remember "Indelibly Etched"?

I miss full size 12" sleeves.  Ceedees are just so freakin' miniscule. 
Even the grandest of packaging, box sets included pales in comparison
to a simple gatefold album cover with nice photos and FULL SIZE great
art. I still go to used joints and record conventions just looking for
cool sleeves.  I once found a beat up "Satanic Majesty's Request" by
the Stones missing the record but it had that brilliant holographic
thingy on the cover ... coupla' bucks ...THANK YOU!  I'm constantly on
the lookout for "Live At Leeds" originals with the inserts and
ESPECIALLY that great "Maximum R'n'R" poster of Towny windmilling with
one of his doomed Rics'  "Ogden's Nut Gun Flake" ... got five of em! 
Horslips' "Happy To Meet, Sorry To Part" ... that one is die cut and
opens up like a little concertina ... a sorta accordian/squeezebox ...
that's a nice one, I've a coupla' those.  And these were domestically
released in the USA ... list price ...TOPS ... back in the 6Ts/7Ts ...
about SIX BUCKS!  You can still find copies of the "White Album" with
the 8"x11"s ... "All Things Must Pass" w/the great George poster ...
"Dark Side Of The Moon" with the poster and stickers ... "Sticky
Fingers" w/working zippers...BTW... there's no great shakes behind
Mick's trouser budge ... in the sleeve shot! In a lotta cases people
sold this stuff with the brilliant extras intact  ... just go
scrounging!  I also buy old 50s and 60s stuff just for the whacky
covers ... old big band stuff, jazz cats and chicks, composers, stuff
like that ... There's a Supersucker's album cover from 97 or so ...
"The Sacrilicious Sounds Of The Supersuckers"  where a chick dressed as
an angel is sittin' on a cat's back dressed as the devil ... this cover
was ripped off almost verbatim by some jazz dude's elpee cover from the
fifties ... I have it somewhere ...sorry, forget the cat's name.

Ah well ... enough spew! Go crazy!
