I can say the major one that sticks out in this category is the REM show I
had tickets for but couldn't make.  It was on the "Green" tour at the
Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View Ca. (near San Jose).  This was
shortly  after the '88 earthquake in San Francisco.  I was in the Navy at
the time and couldn't get to the show due to extensive working hours due to
the post earthquake clean-up efforts.  I still have the unused tix's so
maybe someday they could be worth something.
