well i took a gamble that the usa would have the new cd distributed before whammo could ship it. but it looks like i am a loser. but its good reading all the posts. one thing i have learned is anything i love on first listen does not hold up. great music takes time to permeate the brain. exception being the isidore track "transmigration" from karmic hits "previews and rarities" that i got 2 days ago. boy we had a long wait but the kilbey-church avalanche is in full swing. mahky, i was at one of those sept 79 clash shows and i walked out nearly deaf . if you went to 2 shows you are deaf !  saw dream so real (first album"fathers house") in an outdoor parking lot in atlanta with the squalls and love tractor topping the bill. but howard devoto's magazine at hurrah in 79 will always remain a highlight for me. my first three concerts were queen and mott at the uris on broadway in may of 74 ( when queen sang "keep yourself alive" i thought they meant stay awake for the next band.. i was 16 and naive) second concert was diamond dogs bowie in june or july 74 and my third show was springsteen in red bank nj in august 74. greatest concert for me that i missed was john foxx and ultravoxx where was i  ???    my recurring dream involves all the girls on the seance list and i am sitting naked on a throne like chair with only my new karmic hit "T" shirt on. they all come up one by one and touch my .......................... T shirt.!!  gotta go now, the nurse is here with my pills   jb  got my philly ticket yesterday and i think i will wear my new T shirt to the show. dreams become real ??!
