Good review and on the spot especially about the album not 'rocking' enough. But...I really, really like the 'radiotronics' from HOB and AENT and think that it not only modernizes the music quite well but adds sonic interest. That may be because I don't usually listen to a CD as just music in the traditional way but for overall sonic texture, probably due to a lot of listening to soundtracks and ENO-esque ambient things. Even when playin my guitar here at home I'm usually more interested in making random sounds with delay loops and creating interesting paterns than traditional playing like I did ten years ago. Gotta luv dim raadio-ta-ronics! Or not, as the case may be for some... And as far as the song 'Invisible' - I thought it was wasted space also when I first heard it, but the quiet beauty became evident after a few listens and I really think it is one of the most quietly beautiful things they (or anyone else) have ever done. dw --- Hans Beckers wrote: > radiotronics...adds nothing to songs and does nothing to modernize the sound... > Invisible...*definitely* B-side material __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
