LAist frets over restaurant pagers and the curse of being out of range when your number comes up. Rather old news though, I tested this once with a pager from the Arclight’s cafe which still worked inside the Border’s Books a couple blocks down Sunset Blvd. I’d like to test those against a frequency counter and see what comes up.
