Some good news for a change… HavenCo, the Sealand-based data haven that net wonks were making fun of is doing quite well. They’ve been profitable for a year now and are hosting groups that have been banned in their home country such as the web site for the exiled Tibetan government.

Obviously, they’re only one-SEAL/SAS raid away from no longer being a sovereign nation, but it’s cool to see folks out there building a real data haven. Perhaps more to the point, would it be affordable for SomaFM to stream from out there?
